Winter is not my friend. I love the great outdoors and I have missed being in them. We took advantage of the warmer temperatures this weekend and explored the Battlefields around our town. The preserved Battlefields are one of my favorite parts of living in Virginia!

It was at least 60 degrees, but we still have some lingering snow. Did I mention I don’t care for snow??

We are trying to build up our boys stamina for hiking. A year from this summer we are driving west to explore some of the national parks and we will be doing a lot of walking.
