Falling Like Snowflakes

I can always judge a book by how many days it takes me to read it. A really wonderful piece of fiction I can devour in just a few short days. Denise Hunter’s new book, Falling Like Snowflakes took only two days to finish because I simply could not put it down.

Falling Like Snowflakes is the first book in Hunter’s Summer Harbor Series. This novel follows the story of Eden Martelli who is on the run in a less the road worthy mini van with her son Micah. She becomes stranded in a small town, Summer Harbor, and is desperate for help. Eden finds it in the Callahan family. While she is desperate for assistance, she is guarded and ready to move on in an instant if necessary. The love of the Callahan family draws her in and the rest….you will have to read. This a love story full of hope and excitement. There are some tense moments, but nothing that will keep you up at night.

What I love the most about Denise Hunter’s books, is that she typically follows a family or people in the same community over the course of a series. Everyone is connected and you get to see old friends in new books. I am excited to read the next book in this series. I also loved Hunter’s Chapel Springs series, specifically Dancing with Butterflies and Married till Monday. You can see all of Denise Hunter’s fabulous books on her website.

I was given a complimentary copy of this book to review in exchange for my honest options. I have not been compensated in any way and all opinions are my own.
