Where Two Hearts Meet  was an absolutely delightful book that I am so glad I took a chance on. I often feel great apprehension choosing a book by an author I haven’t read. Where Two Hearts Meet is the second book in debut author Liz Johnson’s new series, Prince Edward Island Dreams. It is a guaranteed good read and worth your reading time and dollars!

If I were being honest, I would admit that choosing Where Two Hearts Meet had much to do with the location of the novel!  As a lifelong fan of Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery, Prince Edward Island is one of those magical places I would love to visit…and maybe even live. Johnson captures the nostalgia and intrigue of the island in this book!

Where Two Hearts Meet is the story Caden Holt, Rose’s Red Door Inn Executive Chef. Caden is a beautiful girl with real cooking talent and a heart of gold. When the Inn falls under financial strain, Caden looks for every opportunity to help. The Inn’s owners ask Caden to escort a travel writer, Adam Jacobs, around the island in hopes he will write a glowing review of the island and of the Inn. Reluctantly Caden agrees and finds herself with an uninvited guest in not only her kitchen, but her heart.

I am excited to find another author I love to read. What I love most about Johnson is the uniqueness of her writing. She seems to be outside of everyone’s box and formula. Where Two Hearts Meet is refreshing! I was given a complimentary copy of this book from its publisher. I was not required to write a positive review and all opinions are my own.
