The smoothie has become the dumping ground of all things unsavory for breakfast consumption. My husband makes these stinky, green, fiber filled smoothies early in the morning. I am not sure how he drinks them without gagging. I am all about kale, but let’s save it for post morning smoothie making. Feel free to disagree, but my delicate sensibilities can hardly handle the sight of slime in the early hours.
Here is my favorite:
4-5 Frozen Strawberries
1/4 cup Frozen Blueberries
2 Chunks Frozen pineapple
8 oz Coconut Milk (Vanilla)
Water if needed to help the blender
That’s it. My smoothie is pleasant and uncomplicated. What are your favorites? It’s okay if it’s green.
